2. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

3. Return Eligibility

3.1 Eligible Returns

You may return products within 30 days of delivery if:

  • The product is unopened and in its original packaging
  • The product is defective or damaged upon arrival
  • You received the wrong product
  • The product does not match the description on our website

3.2 Non-Eligible Returns

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Products that have been opened or used (unless defective)
  • Products returned after 30 days from delivery
  • Products damaged due to misuse or improper storage
  • Products without proof of purchase

Change-of-mind returns are offered in addition to, and do not limit, your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

4. Return Process

4.1 Initiating a Return

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at response@gracefulfilter.world within 30 days of receiving your order
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Wait for return authorization and shipping instructions
  4. Package the product securely in its original packaging
  5. Ship the product using a trackable shipping method

4.2 Return Shipping

Return shipping arrangements:

  • Defective or incorrect products: We will provide a prepaid shipping label
  • Change of mind returns: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

We recommend using a trackable shipping service. We are not responsible for returns lost in transit without tracking.

5. Refunds

5.1 Processing Time

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Inspection typically takes 3-5 business days
  • You will receive an email notification of refund approval or rejection
  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds may take additional time to appear depending on your bank or payment provider

5.2 Refund Method

Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. We do not provide cash refunds for card payments.

5.3 Partial Refunds

In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Products with visible signs of use or damage
  • Products not in original packaging
  • Products returned more than 30 days after delivery (at our discretion)

For products with a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to choose a refund or replacement.

6. Exchanges

  • Include photos of any damage or defects
  • We will arrange for the exchange once the return is approved

For size or preference exchanges, please process a return and place a new order.

7. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  • Provide photos of the damage or defect
  • Keep all original packaging for inspection
  • We will arrange for a replacement or full refund at no additional cost

8. Order Cancellation

8.1 Before Dispatch

Orders may be cancelled with a full refund if requested before the order has been dispatched. Contact us as soon as possible to request cancellation.

8.2 After Dispatch

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. You may return the product following our standard return process once it arrives.

9. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund within the stated timeframe:

  • Check your bank account again
  • Contact your credit card company or bank, as processing times vary
  • If you have done this and still have not received your refund, contact us

10. Exceptions
